2024 – A Recap

As I step on to 2025, recollecting how 2024 was for me.


What worked well

  1. Atleast for first 8 months, kept the rigour of waking up early, reading a lot.
  2. Spent couple of weeks on focussed study on GenAI. Tried new things.
  3. Consistent with efforts on workout and exercise.
  4. Started Sudharshan Kriya. Helped me to get mental peace and calmness in rigrous work hours.
  5. Better health for my mom. Did her replacement knee surgery.
  6. Able to do Nithyakarma (SandhyaVandhanam) more frequently.
  7. Better journey in self realization. Started getting happy with whatever the results. Reduced on expectations.

What did not work well

  • While the efforts were there, results were below par. Weight remained the same.
  • No new creative ideas which i thought of or stumbled upon.
  • No major trips. Confined to home and office for a lot of time. Trips i made to chennai were also packed with personal commitments.

Work and Career

  1. Office work became very challenging with new responsibilities (More people officially reporting to me)
  2. Decent amount of work travel. Except for the trip to Bangalore in April for a workshop, others were hectic as usual.

2025 Goals

  1. Focussed efforts with professional assistance for weight loss.
  2. Better team and work management.
  3. Improve Family reation.
  4. Amarnath Yatra
  5. Blog more. Spend time for it.
