Book-A-Friend

Perhaps, this is my first side project. This project was done in 2010. Originally developed as a book sharing application which would enable users to collaborate with users in the same locality and share book amongst them. It was developed in GCP platform. Developed in pre-facebook era, it was used by my friends in Mangalore Infosys .

My City Traffic

This is my first (and the only one till now) android project. This was developed in 2010 and primarily targetted at Indian users. That time, Google Maps did not have a realtime traffic and recommendations were not tailored towards the mode of travel. This application enabled users to give a best route between two places in city based on data gathered from users real time and other past trends in a route. Waze developed a similar solution later and was acquired by Google. I too perhaps did not have proper ML/AI based approach them( on a lighter note, I did not know about those terms that time itself).

HobbyshopIndia

It is perhaps my first venture which was widely used by general public. HobbyshopIndia.com is a e-commerce market place for artists and hobbyist to sell their art and handicraft products. This solution gave me a lot of exposure to e-commerce, firm establishment, legalities, marketing, finance and almost all aspects of running a business. This site was active from 2012-2016 and was shutdown in 2016.

DataWheels

Datawheels is an IoT based platform for automobile users to take control of the data which defines their driving patterns and style. It was primarily conceived as a open data exchange platform which places consumers at the centre and gave them the right to their data and earn monetary benefits out of their data. This was done in 2016 and was stopped in 2017 due to financial constraints. This project made be to venture into the word of IoT (Internet of Things).
