Quick Bites
Actually, it is bit confusing to tell who I am. Over the years, I as a person have changed differently with my priorities, attitude, interest etc. At the moment of writing (July 2021), I have interests in Food (Vegetarian), Automobile (both as a Industry and as a technology) and Information technology. Though I play lot of sports and a fitness enthusiast, I am not super slim and fit that any body would associate with. I strive to be a minimalist. This is my third blogging site. I started my own site harianantha.in in 2007 or so. I thought I can manage it, but forgot to renew the infrastructure subscription and I lost it. Then I started harianantha.me in 2012 or later and that also met the same fate. Now I have accepted that I do not have patience to manage own infrastructure setup and using a managed environment. In one sense it is good as well as you would not get to read lot of my silly post written way back then!!.
My Career
I graduated in Engineering from A.C.Tech, Anna university in 2003. My major branch of study was Textile Technology. After that I worked in Bharat Textiles for a few months. Then I joined Infosys in August 2003. After working 7 years at Infy, I moved to RBS in 2010. Experience in Infy was enriching and I thank my friends, peers and seniors in Infy for teaching me various things, knowingly and unknowingly. It kindled technologists in me and gave me lot of confidence.
After spending a brief stint at RBS, I joined Cognizant in August 2011. After spending 5 years there, I joined Techolution in January 2017. Now I am in PacteraEdge.
My Family
I am living with my parents Mr.Anantharaman and Mrs.Mangalam. My elder brother Venkatesh is in Chennai and my elder sister Harini is in Hyderabad. Both of them are married and have a lovely and wonderful family. I am married to talented and caring Sai Krithika in 2010. I was blessed with a baby girl Deeksha in November 2016.
Growing Up
My father worked in SBI and was in a level which mandates frequent transfer within Tamilnadu. So till age of 3, I grew up in Nagapatinnam. I was in Thiruthuraipoondi till the age of 7. Then my father got transferred to cool and serene Pollachi . I spent 5 years in Pollachi and 2 years in the neighboring town called Udumalaipettai . Then my fathers job demanded him to move to vibrant Madurai. I studied from 10 to 12 th in Madurai. Then I joined A.C.Tech, Anna University in the year of 2009.
What this means is that I am not blessed with a school gang or friends who were pals from early childhood. But I have no complaints. I enjoyed all the places alike. Infact it gave me an attitude to explore new places, move to any place with a open mind, and do not get into comfort zone of working in same place for the rest of my life. It made to look for best in all the places and situations.
Why this Blog
This is an interesting thing. I want this space to represent my thoughts and my moments. While I do use platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc, I never upload media there fully, nor use it to tell what I feel. Main reason being that those platforms have lost their relevance as they mix politics with their interest for money. Hence this space. While I do regret for not using this space to pen my moments (or losing it two earlier time)and thoughts from the time I got access to net, I will take it as a new beginning. While this is not a space to claim my intellectual capability(if at all any), it could also be used by my potential employers, clients etc.
